For my x22i, I held the Bluetooth button until it beeped. I did that a few times and then eventually it worked. Didn’t really know how or why it worked. The X32i only has a Bluetooth "audio" button which can be used for pairing things like earphones. I've even gone into admin mode and tried to pair the HR strap under the Bluetooth settings
Garmin HRM Dual$51 on sale. I can confirm it does not work with Garmin Connect app, but I knew that before I purchased. I opened the box, snapped the unit to the strap, wet the sensors with water, put it on, and it immediately paired to the Health app on my iPhone.
No HR displayed with Garmin Dual HRM. Just switched from Zwift to Trainer Road because of previous connection issues (my cadence sensor/HR would randomly drop). TR has been much better with connections but for some reason my Garmin DUAL-HRM will connect but the HR just shows up as “–”. It is connected by bluetooth.

Apparently the HRM Dual doesn't connect to the Garmin Connect App, and as ridiculous as that is, they say in their video that a third-party app like Zwift would work, but it doesn't connect to my device either. The Garmin HRM Dual connects to my phone but that's it. I don't have any sort of fany fancy watch or anything like that, I've got a
Launch Tacx app. Connects to HRM and shows current heart rate. Close Tacx app. Launch Zwift again. Same as above; connects to HRM but pairing screen shows 0bpm or No Signal. Close Zwift. Take off Garmin HRM Dual monitor and put on Wahoo Tickr HRM monitor (after wetting strap). Launch Zwift.
HRM Dual and Garmin Connect App. I am soon going to start doing kettle bell workouts, which means I won't be able to wear my Garmin 45 watch (at least the normal way) without it getting damaged by the kettle bells. I know that the HRM-Dual or any chest strap is not supported by the Garmin Connect app, so I won't be able to upload my workout to it.
